I know it may seem too early to be concerned for spring when many parts of the country are still dealing with winter snowstorms, but spring will be here in a blink of an eye. Here are three tips to keep in mind about spring registration:
1. Act fast! Many Regions open and close their spring registrations early in the year. If you haven't yet, check with your local Region to see if they offer spring soccer and when registration opens up. You don't want to miss out on spring soccer!
2. Volunteer! Your Region may need an extra hand and it doesn't hurt to raise yours. Even if you can't be out on the fields coaching or refereeing, see if you can volunteer to be a team parent or to help maintain the fields. There are always ways to get involved.
3. Be patient. We know it can be frustrating if you are put on a wait list or haven't received your coaches' information yet. We understand, but getting frustrated doesn't help either. If this happens to you, contact the Regional Commissioner of your local Region.
