Haven't Heard from Your AYSO Coach? Here's What to Do

This is a busy time of year for everyone in AYSO. Many local AYSO programs are still in their spring season, while others are getting ready for the fall or juggling both! Registration is still open in many Regions across the nation. Recruiting coaches and finalizing rosters are just a few things happening now.

If you’re anxious that you haven’t heard from your child’s AYSO coach for the fall season, haven’t received your season schedule, need details on how to get a refund or have any other questions, click here for a comprehensive list of FAQs. Many of these things will likely take place much closer to the start of the season, so don’t be concerned.

Please also consider volunteering to be an AYSO coach (or assistant coach!) next season. It’s a wonderful opportunity to make memories with your child. The AYSO National Coaching Program is a unique training program for parent-coaches that helps even a novice soccer person, quickly learn the ropes of coaching the younger age levels.
If you’re already soccer knowledgeable, AYSO Coach training helps you have the best possible experience coaching your child. Every AYSO coach is required to be trained and certified at the age-level they coach. The reason is as much about understanding child development and how to work with children at each age as it is about teaching soccer. Much of the early age training is now online but in-person courses and field training are available nationwide. It helps make the AYSO experience as rewarding for you as a parent-coach as it is for your player.

Check your Region website for other volunteer opportunities as well.
