Regions and coaches alike become very busy as the soccer season approaches.
Dozens of daily phone calls, emails and voicemails from parents asking what team their child is on or when the start of the season is, certainly can’t help.
To alleviate pressure on everyone involved, here are three helpful tips for coaches:
1. As soon as you get team rosters finalized, start calling parents and inform them of practices, games and meetings.
2. Set up a parent meeting prior to the kickoff of the fall season in order to set expectations.
3. Find out the best way to contact each family, so that you have an open line of communication in the future.
