A certificate of insurance, or proof of liability coverage, is usually required by property owners such as school districts, city recreation departments and private businesses before they issue a "Use Permit" to any organization requesting permission to use their fields or facilities. Many cities and Park and Recreation associations require organizations operating in their area or using their fields to comply with background checking standards and provide proof of membership. Safe Haven will provide statements of our volunteer screening and background checking policies in support of these requirements and prepare any required player/volunteer listings.
