AYSO Marketing has been awarded a grant from Google to launch a nationwide Google AdWords campaign for registration sign-ups. It will build AYSO’s online presence, help parents find local Regions and can improve traffic to your Region’s website. The goal is to have AYSO be a top result for the most popular soccer and youth sports related searches and provide an easy bridge from Google search to registering for your Region.
To take full advantage of the Google AdWords campaign, there are two quick and simple things you need to do:
1. Make sure information is up to date on eAYSO
The "Find an AYSO Soccer Program Near You" tool pulls your Region information directly from eAYSO for the parent to view. All Google AdWords will link to it, so make sure your information is correct!
Log on to your Region’s eAYSO account and check to see if all contact information, Regional Commissioner, website address (URL) and communities you serve are all up to date. If you need help navigating through eAYSO, contact us here.
2. Registration information is clear and easy to find on your Region website.
When parents land on your Region website, be sure registration information (programs, prices, dates and/or link to eAYSO.) is front and center on the homepage. It should be the first thing they see. Test it by asking someone who hasn’t visited your website to try it. Ask for feedback on how easy (or not) it was to find your registration information.
Young parents research, connect and communicate online so your Region website is the single most important marketing tool you have. Keep it clean and current!
The Google AdWords campaign will kick off on April 1 and will run for three months. This, along with the FOX Sports television ad campaign, will support your Region’s own local registration marketing.
