Does your Region have a field that’s in need of a makeover? Do you have too many teams and not enough practice space? The U.S. Soccer Foundation is offering Safe Places to Play grants to promote safe soccer in communities nationwide. Whether you need better lighting, a safer surface to play on or an extra field to solve your spacing issues, the U.S. Soccer Foundation may be able to help.
To be considered for a Safe Places to Play grant, you must submit a Letter of Interest (LOI) no later than Jan. 30, 2015. For more information about the process and to submit an LOI, click here.
Organizations that are approved by the Foundation will be invited to complete a Safe Places to Play application which will be due on Feb. 6, 2015.
