Along with using your Region number, start using location names when referring to your Region. When parents search for youth soccer leagues, they aren’t searching for Region numbers—they’re typing in things like “youth soccer in Miami” or “AYSO in Los Angeles.” If the only references on your site and social media are numbers, then you may miss out on potential new players joining your Region.
To make sure your Region is easier to find, include your city name throughout your Region’s website, particularly on the home page, as well is in all your registration info, “about us” page and wherever else you would normally use a Region number. This also means that if your social media names only include your Region number, you should update it to include a city name too.
You don’t have change your URL, but just be sure to make it very clear what city(ies) you cover so families looking to sign their kids up in youth sports can easily find you!
