AYSO’s various information systems have experienced significant changes within the past calendar year. Some of these changes affected the power users of your Region, Area, and Section, but many of the changes also impacted the families as they register their children and update their own volunteer information.
In working through these necessary changes the AYSO National Office has experienced efficiencies, cost savings, and more complete data on our members. But, as the reliance on our applications grows, so does the need for the systems to be user-friendly and integrated in the operations of your program in your town.
Two teams have been working on the definition of our future systems while also conducting training and webinars on the existing applications. These two teams were the eAYSO Commission and the IT Task Force. The National Board of Directors has combined these two teams into a single team named the AYSO National System and Software Commission (NSSC).
The NSSC will continue to conduct the training and webinars helping you to use our current applications while they approach the commercial market looking for systems that can provide the needed functionality considered to be high priority.
