eAYSO Access Rights
eAYSO Access Rights and the new Membership Year - Many current board members have end term dates set to July 31 2016 which will result in no longer being listed on the board or having advanced Access Rights in eAYSO when the new membership year begins. We strongly suggest that you review the members on your local board and make sure all volunteers are listed as you intended.
A major enhancement was deployed that changed the way AYSO grants and revokes access rights in eAYSO. After this change adding a volunteer to the board also assigns the volunteer the proper level of access rights in eAYSO. When a volunteer’s term is over the eAYSO access rights are removed automatically. This is very important to keep in mind with a new membership about to begin.
The new AYSO membership year begins Monday, August 1 2016. This may impact the way your Region, Area, or Section board is listed in eAYSO. Many end term dates for local boards are set to July 31, 2016 to coincide with the end of this membership year.
- If this is what you intend then eAYSO is configured properly.
- If not, we suggest you review your board membership before August 1 and make sure all the end term dates properly reflect the correct dates.
