First Time Use
First Time Use after Region Switches to new MY
(Affecting only users with ‘Access Rights’)
A. Region & MY Settings
Users with access rights need to go to the Region & MY Settings screen when they sign in to the new eAYSO for the first time after their Region has changed to the new MY. This only needs to be done once each MY.
For Region volunteers: Select your Region and Membership Year from the drop down and click Update.
For Area volunteers: The My Region drop down will show all Regions in your Area. Select your home Region and Membership Year and click Update.
For Section volunteers: The My Region drop down will show all Regions in your Section. Select your home Region and Membership Year and click Update.
This is a one-time step each MY. This is a new feature that allows Area and Section volunteers with proper permissions to assist Regions with some duties. This screen can be accessed from the menu Preferences – Region & MY.
B. Access Rights
Some users may find that their access is Restricted on certain pages. Please contact your Regional Commissioner, Area Director or Section Director and request them to refresh your access. The access rights can be refreshed by the Administrators mentioned above (or by eAYSO Support) by following these simple steps. For example, if the Regional Registrar has lost access to certain pages, here are the steps to restore access.
Make sure that the volunteer has been added to the Information Form (commonly referred to as the RIF, AIF, SIF for Region, Area and Section respectively) for the Position they will hold in the R/A/S. Once added to the ‘Information Form’ there click ‘Yes’ when asked if this volunteer is to be granted access rights.
Make sure the volunteer is Active and is on the Region, Area or Section Board and that their start and end dates are correct.
