Wells Frice - National Board Member

Wells Frice Photo Wells Frice has been appointed to complete the unexpired term of Mike Hoyer who was recently named Deputy Executive Director of AYSO and, therefore, resigned from the National Board of Directors.

Wells is a former member of the National Board of Directors elected to a 1 year term in 2012. Prior to his board term he was the Section 6 Section Director for six years. He is an advanced management instructor, an intermediate coach and coach instructor and an advanced referee instructor and advanced referee. Wells was an assistant venue director at the 2006 Chicago AYSO National Games. He has served in a number of area and regional positions. He is a 38 year AYSO volunteer and helped found Region 372 in Mundelein Illinois.

Wells is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) charter holder and a Managing Director/Senior Portfolio Manager at Great Lakes Advisors (GLA), a $7 billion investment management firm. He is a member of the Investment Management Committee and Chair of the Proxy Committee at GLA. He is primarily involved in the evaluation and selection of large firm equities for the firm’s Large Capital Value Equity product and client relationships. Wells is also an elected member of the Mundelein Elementary School District 75 Board of Education for nearly 20 years.

Wells and his wife, Teri, also a former AYSO national board of director member and current volunteer, reside in Mundelein Illinois. They have three children and seven grandchildren, two of whom are recent AYSO players.
