AYSO TO UNVEIL NEW LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
TORRANCE, Calif. – June 5, 2017 – American Youth Soccer Organization’s (AYSO) is excited to announce a new Learning Management System, AYSO U, as a way to train volunteer coaches, referees and administrators online. The new LMS platform includes an eBook app for iOs and Android use on mobile phones and tablets.
AYSO U helps recognize the value of volunteer time; enabling 24/7 training in the comfort of their own home and at their convenience. Training will include courses on subjects such as concussion awareness, the Laws of the Game, technical coach and referee instruction, soccer activities and overall safety for the field. Users will receive a certificate upon completion for each course.
“It’s an important move forward in updating and modernizing our online education and training opportunities,” said AYSO Executive Director, Mike Hoyer.
