Seven articles, 46 social media posts and 24 hours of #GivingTuesday resulted in $36,335 raised to ensure every child gets the chance to play AYSO soccer.
#GivingTuesday is a national once-a-year initiative that takes place after Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and encourages people everywhere to give to the causes that truly touch their heart.
AYSO sponsors Fox Sports 1, DOLE Fruit Squish'ems, SCORE Sports and AYSO Store, along with AYSO partners Bumpy Pitch and Abbeville Press matched donations to help raise even more funds.
