Section 14 Hosts 2012 AYSO Section Meeting

The AYSO Section Meetings continue their journey across the country with Section 14 hosting its meeting this past weekend in Boca Raton, Fla.
Attendees from all over Florida came to the Embassy Suites Boca Raton last weekend, for a few days of training, networking with fellow AYSO volunteers and fun.
Some of the workshops featured were: "30 Great Volunteer Recruitment Ideas", "AYSO & US Soccer", "I Got Ball, Ref!", "Marketing Toolkit 411" and more.
A fun highlight of the weekend was AYSO player Erik Arsenault - from Region 345 in Palm Beach, Fla. - accepting his $1,000 scholarship check from Section 14 (pictured above)! Erik was also voted a Fan Favorite in the
Inspireum Soccer Awards and will use the money from the Section and Inspireum to fund his college education.
AYSO's next Section Meeting stop is this weekend, Feb. 9-12 in Las Vegas, Nev., for the
Section 2/9 Meeting.
