Access Rights

The access rights feature allows authorized volunteers in the Region, Area and Section board to provide permissions to registered volunteers to certain features/pages in eAYSO. The access to this feature is provided to Regional Commissioners, Area Directors and Section Directors. Additionally, the new eAYSO provides the ability to grant a volunteer access to players and player information in a specific Division(s) and Gender.

To provide permissions to your Regional Board members, they first must complete these steps:

  1. New volunteers must be instructed to go to www.eayso.org click on the "First time" button and follow the onscreen directions. They will be taken to a page to create a user profile ("account") using an email and password.

  2. They must then complete an online volunteer application (which is a one-time process even though they may already be a registered volunteer with an AYSO ID). They must choose the option to Apply as a new Adult Volunteer and complete the online volunteer form.

NOTE: If they have created a profile (step 1 above) but not completed the online form, then can sign in, choose the option to Apply as a new Adult Volunteer and complete the online volunteer form.

  3. They must sign, date and submit the printed volunteer application to the Regional CVPA. When the CVPA registers the volunteer an AYSO ID is created for new volunteers or the existing AYSO ID is renewed in the case of returning volunteers.

Once they complete the above steps they can be granted permissions. Here are the steps to grant permissions to a volunteer once the above steps are completed.

  5. Enter the first and last name and click Search. Select the volunteer from the Select volunteer drop down. If volunteer already has access, the screen will refresh and pre-fill the AYSO ID field and show system functions at the bottom of the page. If no AYSO ID appears, enter the AYSO ID and click on Update AYSO ID. For Regional Commissioners the Section, Area and Region will be pre-selected.

Note: Area Directors providing access to Regional volunteer must select the Region since the Region drop down will default to All. Area Directors providing access to Area volunteers must leave Region drop down as All. Same is the case for Section Directors.

  8. Additional access can be granted either by choosing another role or by individually adding System functions as shown below. Select the System function and click on Assign rights. This level of access restricts the user to see player information for only the Division and Gender assigned.

  9. When the user logs in the access is restricted to the Division and Gender to the pages they are provided access. See Team Division and Team Gender drop downs in screen shot below.
