First Time Use

(Affecting Some Users)

A. Region & MY Settings
Some users will see the Region & MY Settings screen when they sign in to the new eAYSO for the first time.

For Region volunteers: Select your Region and Membership Year from the drop down and click Update
For Area volunteers: The My Region drop down will show all Regions in your Area. Select your home Region and Membership Year and click Update
For Section volunteers: The My Region drop down will show all Regions in your Section. Select your home Region and Membership Year and click Update

This is a one-time step. This is a new feature that allows Area and Section volunteers with proper permissions to assist Regions with some duties. This screen can be accessed from the menu Preferences – Region & MY.

B. Access Rights
Some users may find that their access is Restricted on certain pages. Please contact your Regional Commissioner, Area Director or Section Director and request them to refresh your access. The access rights can be refreshed by the Administrators mentioned above (or by eAYSO Support) by following these simple steps. For example, if the Regional Registrar has lost access to certain pages, here are the steps to restore access.

  1. Go to Region – Admin – Access Rights

  2. Search for the Registrar by entering the first and last name and clicking Search

  3. Select the volunteer from the Select Volunteer drop down

  4. The screen will refresh and show access that this volunteer already has. Verify that the AYSO ID displays after the screen refresh, in the Users AYSO ID field. If not, go to Lookup - Volunteer and find the AYSO ID. Copy it in this field and click on Update AYSO ID.

    Select the Pre-configured Role Regional Registrar and click on Assign rights. Access will be restored to all Registrar screens for the volunteer.
