Move Players & Volunteers

This feature allows the Area Director and Section Director to move or transfer a player or volunteer from one Region to another. In the case of a player the user must specify if the move is temporary or permanent.

A temporary move is usually done when the player primarily plays in their home Region and may play in another Region during the membership year since the home Region does not have a program during that time. For example, the home Region A has an AYSO program in Fall. A neighboring Region B has a Fall and Spring program. In such a case, the player can be moved temporarily from Region A to Region B. The NSTC fee of $12.75 is only paid once by Region A.

A permanent move is done when a player permanently moves from one Region to another and is not expected to go back. In this case a NSTC fee credit is issued for the first Region and a NSTC fee is charged on the destination Region.

Here are the steps involved to use move players or volunteers from one Region to another. Area Directors access this feature from the Area menu while Section Directors access this feature from the Section menu.

1. Click on Area – Move Pl/Vol

   
   
   

   

   
   

2. Enter the AYSO ID, first and/or last name and click Search

   
   
   

   

   
   

3. Select the player. Select temporary or permanent. Select the Section, Area and Region. Select the Membership Year. Then click Submit.

   
   
   

   

   
   

4. A confirmation message will appear that the player has been moved successfully

   
   
   

   

   
   
   

   The process of moving the player allows both Regions to search for the player and assign the player to separate teams.
   
   Volunteers can be similarly moved from one Region to another by clicking on the Volunteer tab at the top.
